Getting -Married -Seraphim -Pembrokeshire -WalesWake up to Spring, and start thinking about your own wedding beauty plan.  The most beautiful of dresses has been spotted, purchased and drooled over.  But, you and your dress are going to be centre of attention, so spend some time a few months before speaking to your therapist about your own Wedding Beauty plan.

Anna, our Clinic Manager comments “it’s really important to be prepared a few months in advance.  We speak to each of our brides in relation to skin types and beauty regimes leading up to the big day.  A skin analysis will help us identify the most appropriate facials in advance of the big day.  Some brides are very last minute, and their own skin and make up is often last in their long ‘to do’ list, yet surely just as important as the dress, shoes and bouquet!  A great skin foundation and professional make up application allows you to become the most glowing of brides, setting off your  bridal gown to perfection.

With all the expense of the wedding itself, is it appropriate to spend on a professional make up artists.  Of course we think so! But consider – they are going to apply the correct colour foundation as your base, so it is a natural finish, choosing eye make up shades which will accentuate your eyes, and co-ordinate with your gown and bridal flowers.

The professional team at Seraphim will also be able to contour your face if you have quite angular or square features, to make it appear more shapely,  helping you to look at your very best in those once in a lifetime photographs.

“With the cheek area, bone structure can also be highlighted to shape cheekbones” indicates Anna. “Interestingly some brides tend to believe that light make up is better on a wedding day.  However in photographs this can make the bride appear a little washed out, especially against the background of a white dress.  As a professional make up artist Anna advocates having slightly darker make up, applied lightly, which will show up beautifully in photographs.
