Unwanted hair? Regular WAXING sessions at our beauty salon will keep problem hair at bay for longer, while a simple course of STEREX BLEND ELECTROLYSIS will wave goodbye to it forever! Admittedly, neither treatment is particularly pleasant, but the show-stoppingly smooth skin that follows is well worth the drama.

When we decided to offer a hair removal service, we wanted it to be as pain free and easy as possible. Unwanted hair is always embarrassing, as any woman who’s ever forgotten to shave her armpits before donning a swimsuit will know! At worst, though, problem hair can be distressing, even life altering, as it often brings with it a sense of isolation, low self-worth and poor self-esteem. Consequently, here at Seraphim we take hair removal very seriously.
Electrolysis is still heralded as the only method of permanent hair removal and one that is safe as well as effective. We believe that we have found in the Sterex Electrolysis System one of the very best solutions on the market. Their top of the range system features a fully programmable controller that delivers a blend of Short Wave Diathermy and Galvanic Electrolysis, don’t you know?
And now for your science fix…Short Wave Diathermy (or Thrmolysis, as it is often called) uses an alternating current at a high frequency and low voltage. This causes the water molecules around the follicle to vibrate, resulting in the production of heat. The heat stops the blood supply to the hair root, which weakens and eventually destroys the hair.
Galvanic Electrolysis uses a direct current. This causes the salt and water in the follicle to be chemically altered and to produce a small amount of Sodium Hydroxide, or Lye. The Lye promotes nourishment of the cells that in turn interrupts and suspends hair growth.
There is no need to suffer in silence any longer. Let us remove your unwanted hair using our state of the art Electrolysis equipment. Alternatively, opt for a waxing session, a less permanent way to unleash your inner goddess. If none of these treatments appeal to you, why not take a look at our range of Laser Hair Removal.
